Levels vs Nutrisense: the short version
Nutrisense is cheaper on the annual plan (Nutrisense vs Levels — both annual), but includes something Levels doesn't: registered dietitian coaching. Levels is cheaper month-to-month (Levels vs Nutrisense monthly). If you want coaching, Nutrisense wins on value at the annual tier. If you want the best app with no coaching, Levels is the stronger pick.
For pure cost: Levels (annual plan) is the cheapest way to get a CGM subscription with a premium app. For value per dollar including coaching: Nutrisense (annual plan) includes RD access that would cost significantly more per session separately.

Which gives more value per dollar?
Levels Health — best app value
On the annual plan, Levels is typically the cheaper subscription. The FreeStyle Libre sensors alone cost less at retail without the app layer. For what the app delivers — metabolic scoring, meal analysis, wearables integration, lab upload — that's genuinely strong value if you engage with it actively.
Nutrisense — best coached value
On the annual plan, Nutrisense typically costs a bit more than Levels, but includes registered dietitian coaching. A single RD session outside a subscription typically costs significantly more. If you'd use even one or two RD check-ins per month, Nutrisense pays for itself versus paying for coaching separately. The sensor-only plan is also a lower-cost way to get a CGM subscription with a quality app.
Both Levels and Nutrisense are significantly more expensive than buying an OTC CGM directly. Abbott Lingo and Dexcom Stelo use the same underlying sensor technology with no subscription app. If you primarily want the glucose data and not the app layer, the OTC devices are far better value.
Who should pick which?
You want the best app and don't need coaching
Best-in-class metabolic scoring, wearables integration (Oura, Whoop, Garmin), and lab upload make Levels the strongest data platform available. On the annual plan, it's typically the cheaper subscription for self-directed users. No human coaching element.

Registered dietitian coaching bundled with CGM sensors is Nutrisense's unique value. On the annual plan, it typically costs a bit more than Levels but includes expert interpretation that most users find genuinely useful. The sensor-only plan is also worth considering if you want the Nutrisense app without coaching.
