What is Ultrahuman M2 Live?
M2 Live is Ultrahuman's continuous glucose monitoring plan for the US market. It is best understood as a software and service layer: Ultrahuman provides the app, the metabolic scores and access to coaching, while the sensor on your arm is made by another company. Ultrahuman states this directly — it uses third-party CGMs rather than manufacturing its own.
That puts M2 Live in the same category as app-plus-sensor programs such as Levels and Nutrisense: you are paying for the interpretation layer on top of an established sensor, not for new sensor hardware.
The sensor — Abbott Lingo
According to Ultrahuman, M2 Live plans ship third-party CGM sensors — namely Abbott Lingo biosensors, in their original packaging. Ultrahuman's FAQ also says that in the US it integrates with Abbott's Libre 3 Plus and Lingo biosensors.
Each sensor is worn for 14 days and is single-use. You need an NFC-enabled phone to activate the sensor; after that it streams readings to your phone over Bluetooth Low Energy, with a range Ultrahuman gives as 33 feet. The plan also includes Ultrahuman's protective patches and sanitising wipes.

The Ultrahuman app — scores and coaching
The app is where M2 Live differs from using a sensor on its own. Ultrahuman describes these features:
- Metabolic Score — a running view of your metabolic health based on your glucose data
- Food score — how individual foods affect your glucose, on a scale of 1 to 10
- Fuelling score — aimed at workouts and performance
- Metabolic nudges — personalised prompts through the day
- Jade AI coach — answers questions about your glucose data, included at no extra cost
- Integrations — workout, sleep and cycle data synced from apps including Apple Health
Scores like these are Ultrahuman's own models and are not published in detail. Use them to spot patterns in your own data rather than as clinical measures.
M2 Live plans
Ultrahuman sells M2 Live as a recurring subscription or as a one-time purchase. The standard supply is two CGM sensors per month (one 14-day sensor at a time). Plans include the sensors, three protective patches per sensor, sanitising wipes and Ultrahuman Premium access. A one-year plan is shipped in four batches rather than all at once.

US only — and not the same as M1
M2 Live is sold through Ultrahuman's US store and ships to US addresses only. Outside the United States, Ultrahuman's pricing pages show different products — the older M1 or an M1 Live waitlist — which are not covered on this page and should not be confused with M2 Live.
Things to know first
- US addresses only. If you are outside the United States, M2 Live is not an option.
- NFC phone required to activate each sensor.
- Not a diabetes-management tool. Lingo is an over-the-counter biosensor designed for adults without insulin-dependent diabetes; people managing diabetes should use a prescription CGM and talk to their clinician — see CGM for diabetes.
- Proprietary scores. Metabolic, food and fuelling scores are Ultrahuman's own models, not standard clinical metrics.
